What an exciting time for you... to share with your loved one and represent this special couple on such an important  time in their lives!  Being a family member during this time can be hectic as well... for the parents, siblings and others. 

While it is important to step back many times and allow the couple to design their own wedding, there are many areas that family can help!  It is always appreciated when others can jump in and take over a task... making favors, addressing and mailing invitations, decorating for the reception, picking up and dropping off tuxedos and dresses... you can make a big difference to how the couple enjoys their day just by getting involved!  Pick up a copy of The Wedding Guide for the bride, or to help organize your own details of the wedding day!

Here are some other suggestions that family can do to assist in the planning:

• Find and let the couple know about local Bridal Shows in their area

• Host an engagement party

• Announce the couples engagement

• Gather a family guest list for invitations

• Help to select, word, assemble, address and mail invitations

• Learn about financial responsibilities of the family
